Background:
Air purifiers were never really on my radar until I got my first pet. My house smelt like them and having people over embarrassed me and if anyone has an allergy then it would be an even worse issue for them. So I went and got my first air purifier the Levoit and then later found my second one at a thrift store, GermGuardian.

Why purchased: I got a cat and wanted that smell to be gone for both just a cat smell but also the cat litter smell.
Does it Work: Yes, when I tell you there was a major difference between the before using and after using.
Changing of Filter: This is very easy to do with this air purifier.
Quality: I think this is a good quality air purifier. I haven’t even noticed it fall over or stop working.
Worth Price: This is totally worth the price. I have not had any issues with it.

Why Purchased: I live in an older apartment complex, and I am sure that is a cause of my cats asthma. I got this to kill dust and allergens.
Does it Work: I think so, I have noticed a decrease in my cat’s asthma attacks. While not totally gone, it has helped reduce the frequency of them. Truly, I cannot smell any difference when walking into my apartment now because I live here with my cat. But I do think it is better than it was before.
Changing of the Filter: This is fairly easy, there is a back panel that comes off easily. Then you replace the filter, which if you want to buy as a one off is a bit pricey.
Quality: This has fallen over, likely due to my cat. It has also randomly turned off, while there is a timer setting, I don’t often use that.
Worth Price: This is a bit pricey, while I did thrift it, I do sometimes wonder if it was worth the price. I do like it but seems less reliable than the Levoit. However, it does kill dust and allergens.
